I traveled 50 thousand kilometers around Croatia knowing that in another city I have the best chance of healing. Although treatment outcomes are most often seen as data on patient mortality or survival rates, countries that measure them adequately and transparently can objectively measure the performance of their health systems and better manage available resources. In Croatia, treatment outcomes are not monitored systematically, although this would provide valuable data and guidelines for better work organization and investment planning in health care.
